Yup, and it's all because presidential powers were expanded under Dubya, now enjoyed by Obama.
You're so gutless. You can't even admit that it is your dreamboat Benito Obama that has expanded the powers of the president to that of executing US citizens without trial.
I would if he did, but he didn't, so I don't. That's Dubya's plank (more like Cheney's but definitely the party's), and Dubya handed it to Obama.

Accountability is one thing you will forever shield Obama from. Obama has never done anything since his birth that George Bush didn't instigate.

Yup, and it's all because presidential powers were expanded under Dubya, now enjoyed by Obama. A pox on both parties.

It's apparently overlooked by the good partisans on this board that a memo (a summary) of the legal basis claimed for killing Americans without constitutional Due Process via drone targeting, which is a Dubya administration concept carried over by the Obama administration.

One partisan didn't overlook it. You. And in a thread containing the word "accountability" in it's title, you've managed to blame republicans for Obama's ordering of the deaths of US citizens without evidence of wrongdoing or trial.
You couldn't be more wrong. About everything.

Well I have a problem with all of this killing in foreign lands with no declaration of war.  I say if the USA wants to kill foreign enemies then they have to officially declare war.  We do way too many seat-of-the-pants military operations.

If there are real enemies out there, get congress to declare war, win decisively, and get out.

Exactomundo. The snag we encounter, though, is that the war we're in isn't against a particular nation. It's against a global group. Now what do we do?
