Who cares where they come from? The fact is that they are to high
They are fake. They have no economic basis. They are one of the main reasons that the health care system is so screwed up, and they help explian why Obamacare would simply make things worse.

Me too, but this should be quite creative as the current system is already a socialism system where the charges are based on ability to pay so that the well endowed insurance coverage is charged to cover ER expenses for treating the uninsured. This isn't a government transfer of wealth--it's your private free market system for ya.
