Ted, most Young people are Liberals only as they get older and they let their hearts grow harder do they change to the Conservative party. In the above Verse It was the Pharaoh whose heart was so harden that even after seeing the power of God he refused to let the people go. A person heart can become callused, because of greed, selfishness, hate, love of money, sex, love, and all of the passion of man. So each person is responsible for themselves and must listen to the inner voice and not let your heart become so harden. Your response Kentay tells me that you don't understand conservatism because it is produces a better and more rewarding life for the vast majority of people.
Like all those middle class people who had 6-digits-per-year paychecks who lost their homes because they lost their jobs because their jobs got sent to communist China. I know. I for one understand conservatism alright. I even remember William F. Buckley and Ronald Reagan. I even voted for Reagan the first time he ran.
But not the second. Why? I got wiser.
Leftism makes people dependent on the state, authorizes the state to confiscate the private property of individuals, and it produces unhappiness because people don't earn their success and aren't allowed to pursue happiness in their own way.
Nobody on the left in the U.S.A. embraces communist China like a conservative businessman, because today's conservative businessman depends on the state to dole out welfare for kids and retirement for old folks so that conservative businesses don't like the idea that their workers earn retirement, health care, or child care just by working for a set-aside for those things. Americans who are dependent upon the state to confiscate private property earned by individuals is the conservative businessman dependent on the communism of China.
