I really laughed out loud at the premise that Romney committed no gaffes because he told the truth.  That's exactly why Britain's secret entities have a problem with Romney. Loose lips sink ships.

And any time a presidential hopeful spouts anything that is taken as an offense by an ALLY....a CLOSE ALLY at that...it's a gaffe, truth or not.

Mitt should have thought that MI5 was the hardware store and that the hardware store was MI5...unless he really doesn't know **** about hardware.  The reporter who asked Mitt what he bought at the hardware store should have gotten a tight closeup of his hands. Manicured mitts don't know from hardware.
