What the pick of Ryan does is helps Romney with Conservatives and the Tea Party. While it does hurt with women and seniors, I am guessing it only is going to hurt in states Romney was going to lose anyway.

How does choosing Ryan "hurt with seniors and women"? It hurts with liberals, but they're not part of the target audience.
Oh, I can answer that question easily: seniors don't like what Ryan plans to do with Medicare, and Ryan's anti-women's health especially when it comes to abortion and birth control, as he's fully intending to force his religion on every woman in the nation with his plan.
Any senior currently on Medicare will not be affected and anyone entering the system prior to 2023 will not be affected.
What exactly are these anti women's health policies? Who pays for it?
We're all affected if the scheme goes broke, which is a lead-pipe certainty.
As for "women's health policies", the liberal assumption is that all women are pro-abortion and that abortion is the centerpiece of women's health.
