Let's see; women vote for the first time in the mid 1920s.  The stock market crashes in 1929.  FDR is popularly elected in 1932, brings us the uber-liberal New Deal / welfare state, and quickly turns a tough recession into the Great Depression.  Yeah, it must be just a fluke that welfare state and the Great Depression followed closely on the heals of the maiden voyage of the women's vote.

Decisions made based on emotion rather than reason have consequences.  And yes, what I'm saying here is that women are more emotional than men. Not always, but in general.  Sorry, it's not a fashionable thing to say but it's the truth.  Think about the meaning and the origin of the word hysterical.

I'm also not saying that women shouldn't be allowed to vote, I'm simply saying that suddenly allowing a large swath of the population with a different mindset to be in on decision making for the first time will change the nature of the decisions being made.  It's no accident that the gender that nurtures our children votes for politicians that desire for a nurturing government.

Lastly, if you listen to the clip above, Rush seems to stop speaking in mid sentence, there pause, and then he comes back.  Obviously it is an edited clip.  Unless I hear the unedited version it would be wrong to be overly critical of it and lets face the facts, Media Matters employs the most overworked editors in the business.
