I remember back in the 40s 50s 60s when the Democratic Party was respectable. But since those times it has become the Party of greed that helps banksters steal money from working people and leaves them homeless and bankrupt.

...because back in the 40's, 50's and early 60's, the Democrat Party was run by the Dixiecrats, whose states are Republican today as of the mass exodus during LBJ's administration. Dixiecrats can change party, but they can't change their stripes.
