I know you are not a republican.  The question is exactly how far to the other end do you go.

I am independent; I believe we should take the best ideas from all and create a workable system. Neither pure capitalism or socialism works well, only those nations which take the best from booth such as Norway have a very successful system.

No, you have a very socialist leaning view point.

Some things need to be socialized; if for no other reason than harmony among people. I do not however believe anyone that do not want to work deserve more than the bare essentials to sustain life. I believe all people should contribute to society as best they can.
