True Clara we are in a hell of a mess all due to the fact we allowed corporate sociopaths to purchase our Government and now we have Government for the wealthy by the wealthy.
It wouldn't matter who was president there is no longer any virtue in Washington, different strings from different sociopaths/megalomaniacs decide the outcome.
Our two party system has become a two party charade designed to fool the public, none of them are much more than puppets being directed by the puppeteers without a conscience!

Yet the value system in European countries differ markedly from that of the US. The Europeans will get out of it but those clinging to the capitalist systems are doomed to repeat the same errors over and over again.
Capitalism and Communism are two sides of the same coin. Think of a pendulum; whether it is stuck to the right or to the left it is equally as free!

There is nothing wrong with having capital; the difference between Norway and the US is that in Norway people come first, all people are important, and that is no small difference!
