You tell me--it's a con concept that it's supposed to create jobs, like Boehner and Romney keep saying--and I can't explain nonsense coming from cons. Sorry.
That's quite alright. I'd be happy to explain.
When you slap a big tax increase on the wealthy they have less money to invest. If their taxes go up $100K then that's $100K that they don't have available to invest. Now I'm afraid that many on the left only see investments as income for the investor but money invested eventually ends up in the hands of businesses that are in need of cash. Those businesses often are inventing new products or expending operations, both of which create jobs and provide a return for the investor. I expect you know this Clara but other leftists might not.
That's how taxing the wealthy can have a negative effect on job growth.
A lot of that has been proven to be wrong for the past decade, and I'll be happy to discuss this further with you in a different thread, thank you.
Meanwhile, back on topic, it has been my observation that NHK World has reported numerous encounters with Chinese military ships in the past, and on the shortwave radio, expansions of not just CRI (China Radio International) but instances of the Chinese jamming the radio stations of other nations by blaring gong-heavy traditional Chinese music for hours on end ("firedrakes")
It's become obvious to me that corporations with Chinese interests have become funders of the quintessential Manchurian Candidate: Romney.
