I see very few ideas that have a constitutional basis.

Me too, but that hasn't stopped congress.  In today's world congress essentially passes every new law or spending program on it's authority to "regulate commerce" or it's authority to promote the "general welfare."  Making them identify one wouldn't change anything although it might make us feel good.
We don't agree on much politically, Ted, but we agree on these points. QFT.


But a "strict constructionist" judge that cons find preferable can't get much more strict than the wording in the Constitution itself, now, can he. ;)


Can we get a strawman icon?

I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.
