Just how did Reagan get elected?  In 1980 he only released one return.  McCain released just 2.
Carter one prior to 1976. (Carter is not in the following article)

People trusted those Presidential Candidates because they didn't make their money by outsourcing jobs and having overseas tax havens. Do you know any other Presidential Candidate that had made his money like Mitt and had overseas accounts, I don't.  I as a Christian man no matter how much money I made would not do that, I have never complained about paying taxes and I still pay and I have been retired for years. It's like insurance I have paid all my life and never had to use it. I am more than happy for someone that has to use the money I paid in for there house that might have   burned down or whatever happen to them was hard enough. I also feel that way about our Federal Government in helping the least among us because I am so thankful for what my country did in my life and I always felt I had an obligation to serve or pay back for being born in this country. I know to someone like you it may sound mushy but that's just the way I feel and it's from my heart.  Kentay

1.  John and Theresa Heinz Kerry.

2.  This has nothing to do with Christianity.

3.  It is ok IYO if senators and congressmen, those who CREATE the tax laws have their money in tax havens and companies that outsource?

4.  The the return issue is dead.  Things like the economy, Medicare and jobs are dominating the national debate.

John Kerry was not wealthy and had no business or overseas accounts. If you are going to hold Theresa Heinz money against Kerry then You must do it for McCain and Cindy Because he didn't have overseas accounts or outsource jobs ether. Your rebuttal is as weak as usual because you have no good answers. If a Senator or Congressman run for President and has made money through outsource jobs and having overseas accounts; I am sure what will happen by your party in the Primaries,  they will bring it up, big time. Have you forgotten it was your party that made this a big issue of Romney's taxes and outsourcing, how fast we forget.  And If I am around whether Democrat or Republican I will be making an issue out of him/her posting at least 5 -6 years of tax returns. If Mitt can ask his VP nominees for many years of tax returns then our country should be twice as careful who we elected to be our President. kentay

1.  I have no problem with rich candidates, congressmen, and senators.  I am not holding it against Kerry.  I am answering your question.  So IYO marrying rich is ok and you don't care if the spouse outsources and creates tax havens?

2.  I don't put much credence in your claim that you will question dem candidates.

3.  Mitt did not make Ryan's tax returns public.

4.  You forgot to tell us if it was OK for congress critters who CREATE tax laws to outsource and create tax havens?  All a president does is sign the laws, or veto the laws, the critters create.

A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.
