My point was that Obama is not likely to gain anything among the general voter by gaining Crist's endorsement. His base is unlikely to feel energized by Crist's endorsement. That is what I meant when I said,"I'm not really seeing this as helpful for the Dems." Perhaps you have the opinion that this is a great benefit to Obama.
