The legendary womanizer Gingrich throws his support behind Akin. This is great because it makes the case that men stick together when it comes to attacking women. Saying you're sorry for your words  you got caught  using, while still keeping no exemptions for **** or incest is not enough. Men have enough to do just trying  to take care of their own monumental problems , and get their collective nose out of women personal life.   kentay

The Todd Akin campaign in Missouri has seized on Newt Gingrich's defense of the embattled Senate hopeful on Sunday's "Meet the Press" and is now hoping to use Gingrich to win support and money.

On "Meet the Press," the former House Speaker defended Akin, saying that he had apologized and was the choice of the people of Missouri to run for Senate. "I think Todd Akin was the choice of the people of Missouri. I think Todd Akin has publicly apologized. And the last poll shows he's beating the Democratic senator. I think that we oughta go on from that," Gingrich said.

Akin took the video from the segment and put it up on his website in an attempt to raise money off of it.
