Fun question for you Ted; which party held congress and supreme Court and all the levers of power, during 6 of the 8 years W. Bush was in office.

Republicans held congress for those years and they deserve much of the blame for current conditions.  The bigger question is; were those Republicans acting conservatively?  I say no.

GW Bush and company rolled out some big spending:

Two wars
No child left behind.
Sarbanes-Oxley
Dept of Homeland Security
Medicare Part D

To name a few.  But I contend that most of these aren't conservative ideas, they're liberal ideas.  GW Bush was a liberal in conservative clothing.


On a side note those who claim Bush deregulated wall street and the financial sector will see the only bill he signed pertaining wall street.





A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.
