Under States Rights the Blacks would never had gotten their rights all over this country. It has always been used for some people to control others.

Slavery was wrong, is wrong, cannot be tolerated. It is the most basic violation of liberty imaginable. Sadly, the USA does not have an unblemished history.

It we really love children and want them to succeed it starts at birth.

Some people don't love children and shouldn't be forced to love children.  They should simply tolerate children.  Parents overwhelmingly love their own children and should be the primary providers of their care.

What is so distasteful to me is some people care more about a fetus than a born child. kentay    

I care about the life of the fetus because it grows up to be a baby and then a toddler and then a child and then an adult. What is confounding to me is how somebody can be so concerned about the welfare of babies that have passed through the birth canal and yet think it is just fine for a mother to kill her own child for the sake of convenience.

Ted,  do you have any feeling on Jim Crow and the south? Do you believe people can have different feeling and beliefs and still be Christians? What if anything does this verse below, mean to you? kentay
