There is no question that Obamacare was written as it was to attract support from the insurance industry.  The problem is that the insurance executives were even more stupid and gullible than most Democratic voters.  If implemented, the scheme will blow up after a few years.  Businesses across the country will prefer to pay the nominal fines incurring for dropping employer insurance, and consumers will prefer to [refuse to pay] the nominal fines incurred for failing to purchase individual policies.  They will wait until they get sick and then cash in on the guaranteed issue.  The insurance companies will not merely be screwed, they will literally be run out of business.
