i wonder if he was on any 'medication'-seeing doctor who prescribed these crazy making drugs.
You seem to be putting doctors in a tough spot Donni. If he or she prescribes a drug and and the patient commits a crime, the doctor is liable. Would it also be true that if the doctor didn't prescribe any medication and a crime was committed, he or she could be liable too?
Out here in the State of By God Oklahoma with decreasing regulations, we have a medical service population interested only in pushing pills and selling medical appliances, care be damned. But how can one distinguish between a good doctor and a charlatan? Particularly difficult in a world that increases in charlatan population.
Which brings us back to results-based Obamacare. Just that approach alone would cut down on any incentive for a doctor to become a pill pushing appliance peddler.

yea, i realize that, and don't mean to put them on the spot. i really disagree with gov't interference with good doctors, but we need ethical doctors who aren't just pill distributors and pushers for the pharm companies that are only looking to profit, and whether the pill works or not, for the majority, or what harms they may cause hardly seems to be the consideration. money keeps trumping common sense and human kindness. rude...disgusting.
....like I was just saying. donni done hit the proverbial nail on the proverbial head. I otta come up with a Nailhitter Award one o these days...
What are you talking about, clara? Are you criticizing the modern practice of psychiatry, which is now based upon the prescription of medication? Do you think psychiatrists need to pull out the couches and have these homicidal maniacs submit to Freudian therapy?
