That's interesting because Jon Stewart of your favorite news network, Comedy Central, made that same claim just over a year ago.  Politifact.com checked Mr. Stewart's claim and determined it to be just plain false.  Here are the unfortunate details:

So you are saying that Politifact, a Pulitzer prize winning,  slightly  left leaning factcheck site that YOU have used is wrong in your learned opinion?   I like them and use them often.
