First off, this would have happened regardless of the strict regulations or not.  We have black markets and all one needs to do is go find one dealer to purchase what ever he/she would want.

Laws are written but only law bidding citizens follow them.  If you don't follow the law, then no matter what we do, it would still happen.  Do the common criminal follow the laws that are written?

How many bank robberies, murders, ****, child pornography, and other violations of the laws do we have in this country every day?  We can't say the law is the problem, because truth be told, we could have the strictest laws, and things would still happen.  This has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment, or the Republicans or Democrats, this is an issue of one person committing a heinous crime against many innocent individuals

I can't find a single thing to disagree with.  Nicely put Don.
