Hi kentay.  If you have a problem with Ryan's Medicare plan you should talk to HHS Secretary Katherine Sebelius.  Also, your headline says one thing but your last alleged fact contradicts the headline.

Unfunded liabilities are benefits promised by the federal government to individuals through entitlement programs like Medicare.

Romney got out his white board and proclaimed that Obamacare = change in Medicare.

Romney got out his white board and proclaimed that Romneycare = no change in Medicare.

Ryan got out his mom in Florida and proclaimed that Medicare needs to be saved.

Cons' mantra: unless there are changes in Medicare, it will go belly up.

Do the math: Romney and Ryan claim they're going to save Medicare by letting it go bankrupt, and sound like liberals hooting that Medicare needs to be saved while proposing that it go bankrupt.

There is a thread about how a campaign thinks it can get away with lies.  I believe this fits the outline for that topic.  As moderator you can move a post, right?

Yes, but the only moderator of his own section is RWE. Nobody else is moderator of anywhere else.

You're talking about two threads being started by 2 different people, and they have 2 different approaches. 2 identically-titled topics posted by the same poster are what's mergeable.

In Poll, Obama Is Given Trust Over Medicare

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/23/us/politics/polls-say-medicare-is-key-issue-in-3-swing-states.html?_r=2&ref=politics

Voters in the three key swing states of Ohio, Florida and Wisconsin trust President Obama by a wide margin over Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to handle Medicare, an issue that ranks behind only the economy and health care in importance to voters.

Cool.  Can you post Obama's or the Democrat plan?  Remember the CBO gives it about ten years.

PS.  The Ryan plan does not end Medicare as we know it nor does he want to.  Traditional fee for service Medicare is one of the options silly goose.
