The Question of Allah

It is a Christian who lies throgh his teeth who proclaims that Allah is not identical to the God of Abraham. It is also a Christian who lies through his teeth who proclaims that Muslims hate all Jews. There is the matter of Zionism whose roots date back to the mid-1800's that is the source of the problem between only certain Jews and Muslims--see the previously posted link on the matter of the Treaty of Medinah {actually posted in the next post here on Hypercrites}.

This isn't to say that Islam doesn't have its own problems--it does--but those problems are NOT what the deceptive Christian would have you believe. Both Christianity and Islam share the same type of corruption source: for Christians, Saul/Paul. For Islam, it's Ayisha. As a result, both versions of the Abrahamist religion are based almost entirely on false premeses that have greater political interests than they have spiritual.

Ayisha was quite a piece of work, she was. The only problem that Christians forward about her is the fact that she became Mohammed's wife at such a young age, just as she achieved puberty. When they do that, they ignore Christian common practice of the same thing, to cement political alliances among higher-level government people such as kings and barons etc. Still, this marriage was nothing less than totally political even in Mohammed's case. It is Ayisha that encompasses the schism between Shiya and Sunni.

Politically, Ayisha was her father's daughter. No consideration of Ayisha's role in Islam should be separate from consideration of the family she married out of--that of Islam's first Khalif, Abu Bekr. He was a military general and go-between for Mohammed to the Koreish and from whose loins sprang the raison d'etre for Sunni Muslims. On the Shiya side was Imam Ali, Mohammed's cousin, later adopted brother, and still later, son-in-law. Also the second of Mohammed's converts to Islam (the first being Mohammed's first wife, Khadijah). The Shiya refuse to recognize any hadiths authored by Ayisha while the Sunni do; they do not recognize any of the Sunnah as legitimate while the Sunni do.

The Shiya grew apart to embrace the religious form of feudalism that Europe's Dark Ages Christians promoted (leadership by inheritance), while Sunnis held that the scholar should hold religious leadership regardless of bloodline, prefering to ignore the political ex-spiritual basis of their religion.

The second caliph of Islam, Omar, built a mosque at the site of what is now the al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem in the early years of the 8th Century. Apart from the age of the Crusaders (1099-1187), the region remained under Muslim rule until the fall of the Ottoman Empire in the 20th Century.
What's missing here is acknowledging the Treaty of Medina, under which the Al Aqsa Mosque was built, and under which Jews and Muslims fought together as brothers both against the Byzantine Empire AND against a Jewish tribe that had reverted to idol worship: the Koreish, a tribe claiming to be able to trace ancestry all the way back to Adam and held significant political power over other tribes under that claim.

Also missing is information of Jewish dispersions by the Romans long before 70 AD as a matter of course. I now draw your attention to Acts 6:9 where your main attention as a reader would be squarely focused on the execution of Stephen.

In this verse is mentioned the Temple of the Freedmen. Archaeologists had unearthed this temple around 1913 and read an inscription dedicating it to rabbi Theodotus Venetus--a Jewish rabbi with a clearly Roman name. As it happens, "freedmen" are those slaves who had eventually been given freedom, many of which relocated to the Palestine area because even as freedmen, did not enjoy better than second-class citizen status. The "Diaspora" event of 70 AC was actually just a larger scale occurance of something that has been happening throughout the entirety of Roman rule. Not all Jews are semitic, despite Zionist claims to the contrary.

If from amongst the Muslims, an indigent person is guilty of an offence, in which blood-money becomes due or he is taken prisoner and is unable to pay ransom; it shall be incumbent on other Muslims to pay blood-money or ransom on his behalf and get him freed, in order that virtue and sympathy in the mutual relationship of the Muslims may be created.

13. No Muslim shall be hostile to the slave set free by another Muslim.

14. It shall be the duty of the Muslims to oppose openly every such person as created mischief and riot and troubles human beings or forcibly wants to grab something and resorts to oppression. All the Muslims shall remain mutually united in punishing such a person, even if he is the son of anyone of them.

15. No Muslim shall have the right of killing another Muslim in exchange of an infidel (who is at war) or assist a person who is at war with the Muslims.

16. The promise of Allah, responsibility and protection are all one and the same. This means that if a Muslim gives refuge to someone, it shall be incumbent on all Muslims to honour it; although the Muslim providing the refuge may be a plebeian. All the Muslims are brethren amongst themselves, as compared to others.

17. It is incumbent on all the Muslims to help and extend sympathetic treatment to the Jews who have entered into an agreement with us. Neither an oppression of any type should be perpetrated on them nor should their enemy be helped against them.

18. The truce of all the Muslims shall be one: When there is a war in the way of Allah; none of the Muslims leaving aside other Muslims, shall enter into a peace treaty with an enemy, unless the treaty in one and the same for all the Muslims.

19. All the groups who participate in war along with us, shall be afforded an opportunity to rest by turns.

20. The provision of subsistence to the dependants of the Muslim who get martyred in the way of Allah, shall be the responsibility of all the Muslims.

21. No doubt all the God-fearing and devout Muslims are on the right path and are the followers of the best way of life.

22. Neither shall any non-Muslim who is a party to this agreement, provide refuge to the life and property of any Quraish nor shall assist any non-Muslim against a Muslim.

23. If someone murders a Muslim and there is a proof against him, the murderer shall be punished. But if the next of kin is prepared to accept blood-money, the murderer could be set free after the payment of blood-money. It shall be obligatory on all the Muslims to observe this injunction without any exception. Nothing other than the prescribed injunctions shall be acceptable.

24. For a Muslim, who after accepting the treaty, has agreed to abide by it and he believes in Allah and the Day of Judgement, it would neither be permissible to create a new thing or practice, nor would it be right for him to have dealings with such a person as does not respect this treaty. Whoever infringes this injunction, the curse and wrath of Allah shall descend on him on the Day of Judgement, and no excuse and request for forgiveness shall be accepted from him, in this respect.

25. When there arises a mutual difference about anything in this agreement, the matter shall be referred for a decision to Allah and Muhammad (S.A.W.).

Like I was saying, a lot of people are under the erroneous impression that problems with the Middle East began with the United Nations establishing the State of Israel as a recognized nation after World War I.  Problems actually began in the mid 1800's beginning with one Theodor Herzl's efforts to organize Zionist Jews-- the BBC account of it, already cited, goes into how the Ottomans broke relations with Great Britain to change sides by allying with Germany, and the both of them subsequently were defeated by the same.  Under the League of Nations, not the U.N., the area which included the region now known as Iraq, came under British occupation.  Enter the Herzl factor, which had an ill-begotten effect on a yayhoo named Arthur James Balfour, who authored the outrage called The Balfour Declaration.  Regardless of the outrage it generated, Parliament came 'round and that's how the Palestine mess began.  The League of Nations failed when it was unable to collect reparation money from Germany for the cost of the war, and the particulars of that problem were the foundations of both the U.N. and World War II.

This last link addresses the false contention of pro-illegal-settlement Jews of Israel that Palestine was uninhabited when Israel was established when in fact it was peacefully co-habited by indigenous Jews (which were actually Semitic Hebrews), Russian Jews and Muslims, all of which recognized the morality of the Treaty of Medinah and the emperor of the Ottoman Empire considered it a moral obligation to permit refuge there to the Russian Jews escaping the Pogroms.  Austrian Theodor Herzl and his gang of Zionists applied to the Ottoman Empire for similar admission into the Empire, but due to the radical nature of his Zionist organization, founded in Switzerland, was denied that permission by the Ottomans.

As I explained in the introductory thread, it's called "The Question of Allah" because it was posted in the PBS section on "The Question of God".  That's the name of a PBS production based on the book of the same name.
