Military Groups To Appeal Ohio Early Voting Ruling
Ryan J. Reilly on September 7, 2012
A coalition of 15 military groups told a federal court on Friday that they plan to appeal a ruling that would stop the state of Ohio from cutting off early voting three days before the election. The suit, brought by the Obama campaign, sought to expand early voting hours to all Ohio voters during the three day period. A law passed by the state allows only active duty members of the military and Americans who live overseas to cast an absentee ballot in-person during that period.
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has said he wouldn't set new hours until an appeals court hears the case. U.S. District Judge Peter Economus ordered Husted to appear at a hearing in person on Sept. 13.

The coalition consists of the National Guard Association of the United States, the Association of the U.S. Army, the Association of the U.S. Navy, the Marine Corps League, the Military Officers Association of America, the Reserve Officers Association, the National Association for Uniformed Services, the Non Commissioned Officers Association of the USA, the Army Reserve Association, the Fleet Reserve Association, the Special Forces Association, the U.S. Army Ranger Association, Inc., Amvets, the National Defense Committee and the Military Order of the World Wars.

We turned over a real mess to President Obama, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so give us another chance to  create a depression.
