I added a couple of bloggish boards for News & Politics serving as sort of a soapbox for the person who is named as moderator. I started one for myself because of some of the arguments I've gotten into already, some of which rehashes old vintage arguments and what I intend to do here is post my perspective on things...and, in the case of old rehashes, repost some old stuff because I've already addressed this stuff.

Certain folks from the PBS Discussions board, Linc's place and DBS like to yank my chain about the state of Israel, and so what I'm gonna start with is a rehash of what I posted on PBS Discussions in the section A Question of God, under the topic A Question of Allah.  For the record, I am an atheist who freely debunks any/all religions, and my favorite subject of debunking is the Abrahamic family of religions. No amount of whining about my insensitivity is going to cut mustard in this department, so keep that in mind.

And I will begin with this statement: no religion is an ethnicity even when the religion believes itself to be an ethnicity.  I am aware of the fact that some countries have laws which enforce this fiction on the pain of fine and incarceration and that's gotta be the most outrageous and worst folly of any religion of all.

I've been looking thru my extensive collection of GIF emoticon etc collection looking for that faucet that was callmeishmael's signature on the PBS Discussions board.  The website he got it from took it down, dammit, and I know I got it somewhere....somewhere....somewhere...
