A major coal company lays off 1200 across 3 states due to natural gas and more importantly regulation and policy aggressively aimed at ending these of coal.

You left out the news of all the anti-Japan demonstrations in over 100 cities in China, some of them dredging up the invasion by pre-WWII Japan, insisting that Tokyo of today be leveled in response (Via BBC World, via PBS and NHK World via PBS).
