today i extended an olive branch to lincoln admitting i can be a bit paranoid these days. i can respect his 'stance' many times more than colemans'-that's what made me decide to do this, coleman is SUCH an ****. he really needs to stop being so racist and sneaky-neither r good attributes. clara -i like u but it is no fun to debate with walls-not that i got much better at linc's hypercrites-people don't like to confront hard truths, if u ask me... but i can still learn too. if i can 'post' rant, spout, pontificate, converse, or preach, etc. here, as well as there -i'll do my best. to best effect, i guess-i am trying to help.

Well, donni, Linc is a nut case. It's not for me to say whether you kiss his ass or not. I know it's no fun talking to the walls, which is why (and I repeat myself for the umpteenth time) I go on social media, not forum boards these days.

I keep up Hypercrites for the people who want a non-Linc Hypercrites.  If nobody wants one, I'll be happy to close it down.

It's that simple, really. If you want to keep in touch, you know where else to find me, donni.  If you don't, good luck with the lunatic.

the fact that u didn't denounce others in their racism, ur free speech thread posts on linc's hypercrites, your conduct in general-ur debating style, demeanor etc. u are just sneaky about ur brand of bigotry. and why should i think mm is the end all be all expert on anything except MAYBE music?

i hardly 'kissed his ass'- i merely tried to think how he could let a bunch of people i believe he and his clique think are racist (coleman not included, as evidenced by mellow) on, and others that drive most nuts-like woody, but i was being kept out-it just didn't make sense to me.

i decided perhaps the fact that in the end i accused of linc messing with my posting 'functions' might be the actual faux pas i committed. and i decided that if that was the case-well, i could've been wrong-hell i've got verizon telling me the problems i have with my connection to the internet is caused by foliage! so...i extended the branch-that is NOT kissing ass, clara. don't be such a drama queen.

i hardly thought HOW i post could be reason enough-i just didn't post that much-compared to many. but ok, u helped me clear up what was considered flooding and i s'pose i was guilty of that charge then-even if i do think its stoooooopid-especially the way i did it -i usually kept it to my own thread and i didn't harass-as u can tell by the OVERALL number of my posts-i just didn't like that SOME people try and just hurry you off the page because they don't like the topic-people WERE reading and some liked it-just didn't have much to say i guess-like most to cold hard truths-what can a reasonable person say?

this is not personal at all clara-i'm just bored here. social media? u mean like face book? people there just want to do happy news for the most part, seems to me-they don't WANT to discuss politics there-they read the info-maybe-but they don't seem to want to put forth their opinions. i think 'nice' america is scared shitless-so they try to focus on the here and now-family-work. they can't deal with truth cuz its so damned ugly. so i try not to abuse them-they r too child-like. they r'nt looking and don't want to be made to look. those that come to political forums are looking. they either have an agenda or are looking for answers or like minds. i guess i look for like minds-or close enough. i hope to change minds too or be open enough to have my mind changed-anyway those things aren't happening here, so...

you should come there too-so what if linc is crazy? i don't really know exactly what completely sane looks like anyway.

The election's over and I'm kicking back in a holiday mood with real friends these days, and I'll take those over anybody Linc's got any day of the week.

as good as? u should try to pm linc about it -like i did. i don't know WHY u were banned-that has NEVER been made clear to me-but i doubt u'd have to 'kiss ass'-just ask to be re-instated and promise to try and not do whatever it was that he got his knickers in a bunch over, again. i would like to see u there-it does take a really thick skin, the ability to let things wash over and having a little humility to say ur wrong when u are, i guess. i try NOT to take anything too serious or personal. there are a lot of different personalities, mind sets, ideas, and debate, there. people bring a lot of things to the table and that is what makes it interesting. AND it isn't run by a racist and his racist friends looking to spread their disease. anyway-think it over.  for giving me a home, so to speak, for a bit-i appreciate the effort.

Linc is a burnt bridge at this point and there's no going back for me. Has to do with Ardd and the fact that there is an alternative Hypercrites in the first place. SC would understand, but I never see her anyway.  Doesn't matter...I've found political satisfaction in the social media arena and that's not going to change either.

The people who host this board suck bilgewater, too, and no support whatsoever anymore....but I'll keep it open as long as they let me.  It's certainly open to anybody else who's fed up with Linc, or the next time he does a Big Purge.  I know all youse guys from WAY way way back and that's worth at least something.  To some people anyway.

Aside from me, there is virtually no one left to purge.  He's pretty much reduced to his Halleuyah Chorus.

Meanwhile, Google Plus added a Communities feature and I started one named (you guessed it) Hypercrites.
Only talking to myself over there, too.  What the hell.

My other Circles are more interesting, though--talking to everybody from the White House to Paula Jones.  I don't even do that on Facebook.
Twitter has gotten more interesting, too--when mainstream media goes all Topic One All Day Every Day, Twitter's the best place to keep up with other news....that, and following all our lawmakers.  I'm keepin' a peeled eye on 'em, you betcha.

Not to mention debating stuff with other people in real time.  And I sure as hell don't miss Linc.
