You still live in a fantasy world, clearly. I don't give a **** what you think one way or the other and I don't want to know you--I've seen enough to know that I don't. I've seen enough of the friends you keep to know I don't want to know them either. They're vestiges that America should never be ever again, as Americans celebrate the fact that such people lost despite Fox News, despite Karl Rove, despite Rupert Murdoch and despite conservative governors who decided to dictate election results. Such people should never raise their ugly heads again to dominate anybody ever.

You hit on why I resigned from management at TopicsBB. It's one thing to preach free speech even for bigots, but it's a whole other thing to promote them to management, too, AND defend what they've said.  I'm all for providing proof when a debate position is taken, but what those bigots were producing were things that were debates of the 1800s that have been long settled and on which no current debate exists.  In short, bogus.

And there's no legitimate defense of defending those bigots either. I usually can work with (and prefer) more than one admin on a forum board, but I never work well with bigots. Ever. Nor will I ever work with anyone who defends a bigot's bigotry, either.

Don, there are many reasons a forum board can go dead.  Consider the bigotry of your favorite friends chasing off any member of modern society as one of them.

I didn't stick around long enough--much of that's pretty much news to me.  Last time I looked, sambling was the one who locked the thread, then Don unlocked it and then...well, it got confusing.  There is such a thing as having too many people with boss powers and creating a mess. Didn't know Ray left or why--from what Don was telling me, he and Ray were best buds or something along that line.

All of Don's friends pretty much fit the pattern that Ray fit, and that includes that Scotsman who posted mainly in International...where he cautioned me to watch what I said about Germans because he had German lineage.  We weren't looking at just one skinhead anomaly--we were looking at a matched set.
