Republican Campaign Mantra:
We turned over a real mess to President Obama, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so give us another chance to  create a depression.

Kentay, is your middle name Laser Beam?

You sure are focused on Romney's tax returns. Probably just as focused as you were on Obama's birth certificate...... right?  ;)

I personally think Romney ought to release his returns but if he doesn't it's not enough for me to vote for his opponent that's for sure.

For Ted and Ditto man. Romney has two choice a slow bleeding wound or to open up his chest cavity. Ether choice is a tuff choice of his own making. Anyone that knew they were going to run for president and it had come up several times before and was ether too dumb or just a arrogant wealthy person, to clean up his records doesn't deserve to be President of the USA. After the Bush Depression of 2007-2008 and continuing, Romney probably made millions and paid little to no income tax. The question is will the American people elect someone who paid little or no taxes for a few years, when they have to pay at a higher rate and no way to get out of ii like Romney does. The second question is will the American people give their collective votes to someone they feel is trying to hide his income taxes. Nether question has been answered yet, but will be answered on November 6, 2012  kentay

If Romney is found to have illegally dodged paying his taxes then he should be disqualified from holding the office and he should also be prosecuted.  But if Romney used legal loopholes he should be commended for smartly managing his money.

But I'm afraid that the legality of the matter is of little concern to the left. They just want to leverage the envy that is present in all of us.  Of course, some of us won't fall for that.  Isn't there a commandment that says something like.....

Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's......

Also, be careful what you wish for Kentay.  There are much more formidable conservatives than Romney that could come in and clean Obama's clock.

The cool thing is many average middle class people are like me.  We don't really care what is in Romney's tax returns.  We understand that if there was anything ilegal the IRS would have gotten him by now.  We also look at the numerous Obama appointees that had major tax issues and laugh at the oh so obvious diversion.

Those of us who are political junkies are also aware that many people on the left, to include posters like kentay, are not concerned with finding illegalities.  They are concerned with going over the returns line by line looking for the next campaign ad, talking point, or thread to where they can cut and paste someone else's analysis.  So kentay, be honest about the intentions.  You want to whine about how rich he is, and where he invests his money.  Simple as that.

A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

Sadly, there are a lot of ignorant people who have been stung by the envy bee and they will cancel out your vote.

You lost me with that one Woody.  The IRS is as incompetent as any other branch of the federal government.  In many ways their incompetence is a blessing but when chasing criminals it's not.  Look, the feds were warned about Madoff at least six times and they did nothing.  I have no reason to think the IRS is any better.

The point is that lefties like kentay and the campaign are interested in the returns ONLY to create even more diversions concerning Romney's investments, wealth, and deductions to further avoid discussion of the economy.

You think kentay creates a lot of threads now?.  Just wait until the left wing media has years of complicated tax returns to shift thru.  Poor kentay will get carpal tunnel from trying to cut and paste it all.

Woody, your point is well taken.  If and when Romney releases all of his returns it will be a never ending stream of crap from the left. They will be connecting Romney's cousin's hairdresser to the grandfather of some dude who once layed a guy off.  It will be a veritable field day for the left..... but the sooner it gets started the sooner it will become tiresome to the undecided voters.

Kentay, you are allegedly a 70 something retiree who spent 24 years in the AF and then a number of years as a teacher before retiring from that.  When you worked their was no Internet in the workforce.  Unless it was Arpanet.  Something an engine tech would not have dealt with.   You wish to come clean now?
