RWE, you've hit on a big reason why people are dumping the GOP. It's not that they hold the other party accountable, it is that they want to grab the power the other party has on things that BOTH should be held accountable for, and your guys always bring up the wrong things as issues.
I've spent days away from this board for the purpose of coming back days later to see if any of you guys scream to hold the administration accountable for the drone program. Nobody here has even a thread on the latest memo revelations on that. I submit it's because your side prefers to have that power should they ever whup the Dems, instead of being held accountable for even the fact that the GOP started it.
FAIL
I've been avoiding the game, as I usually do every year, although I wished I could have seen "All The Single Ladies" performed. Even though Beyonce is eye-candy for guys, they just can't handle a message like that, by and large. lol you guys are just guys, alright. XD
I'm really disconnected from the modern music scene. I've never heard of the song you mention and have no idea what its message is.
I have heard of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and would most likely enjoy seeing it in NYC.
Dick Morris and Sarah Palin have been let go. Karl Rove was reportedly sidelined for a while.
It seems like FOX is making some changes. How big? I guess we will see but personally I'd like to see O'Reilly and Hannity go. Both shows get high ratings (for cable news) but both seem very stale to me. O'Reilly's no nonsense from the guests style was once refreshing but now it's old. I'm ready for a change.
I'd like to see a Charlie Rose like show in prime time that sports a conservative host who does in depth interviews with thinkers on both the right and the left. I'm tired of the "tastes great, less filling" arguments that Hannity especially did every night. Three minutes interviews are too short be useful for anyone. We need an hour or more covering just one or two topics and no more of the constant badgering.
I'd watch, although I doubt it would have mass appeal.
He resigned for being wrong about that. And then Dubya surrounded himself with Nixon's unindicted co-conspirators and resurrected the notion, which cons continued to defend until Obama got elected. And re-elected.
I would if he did, but he didn't, so I don't. That's Dubya's plank (more like Cheney's but definitely the party's), and Dubya handed it to Obama.Yup, and it's all because presidential powers were expanded under Dubya, now enjoyed by Obama. You're so gutless. You can't even admit that it is your dreamboat Benito Obama that has expanded the powers of the president to that of executing US citizens without trial.
Accountability is one thing you will forever shield Obama from. Obama has never done anything since his birth that George Bush didn't instigate.
NIXON"S FAULT!!!!He resigned for being wrong about that. And then Dubya surrounded himself with Nixon's unindicted co-conspirators and resurrected the notion, which cons continued to defend until Obama got elected. And re-elected.
