I am a Christian man and I believe in evolution. kentay
Combining Christianity with Evolution, eh? That's an interesting concept. So, I'm guessing here that in your judgement, God has established a system of "natural selection" or "survival of the fittest" and that any efforts by you or I to aid the less fit is contrary to God's plan. Is that how it works? Diseases like the HIV virus or diabetes would then be something that would eliminate from the gene pool those that were not "fit" for survival. Am I understanding you correctly? So, in your judgement it would be wrong to interfere with the evolutionary process that God has determined to be best for mankind. Helping those less fortunate would be wrong and allowing them to die would be what Jesus would do, thus preventing them from contaminating the gene pool with their inferior traits. That would be Christianlike? I'm not sure if I would agree with you. The evolutionary process seems so meanspirited and anti-Christian. How do the meek inherit the Earth if they die off?
Kentay, I'm still wondering how this works. If God uses "natural selection" as a mechanism to improve our species, wouldn't abortion be interfering with God's plan? Only Satan would want to interfere with God's plans. You help Satan when you support abortion.

RWE and others!
That stupid logic is what saw Christians murder thousands of faith healers and herbalists a few hundred years ago!
The Church used the logic that if someone became ill it was God's will and to cure the person was to go against God!

Pardon me for calling your logic idiotic but I don't know a better word for it.
This type of logic is as absurd as saying God is involved with the creation of millions of cells in every human body on earth every second of the day. Employing your deity as an excuse for atrocity should cease immediately!
I was asking Kentay about his beliefs as a Christian who believes in Evolution.
The Founding Fathers established the first Dept. of Homeland Security. They called it "a Well Regulated Militia."
