For the life of me I just don't understand these people and I need some help.
Whenever I mention we need single payer medicare type medicine system for all ages, without the insurance companies, so we can take care of all citizens they holler "Socialism"!
When I say we need to increase taxes so we can take care of the person who gets sick or has an accident, the widow and the orphan they cry: "Let them take care of themselves I'm not spending my hard earned money! Taxation is theft!
When I talk about Government regulations and say we need to take care of the environment etc; they cry: "It is not proven, we want freedom we're not going to live in a nanny state"!
Then every evening before they go to bed they say a prayer to some creator, so that after this life is over they may get to go to a place where none have any say, there is no money, the widow and orphan is taken care of, and everyone is equal.

If only people who say they are Christian knew what it really means to be a Christian. They would know that what you do and how you treat the least among us you are doing to Christ. That is not kentay words but are Christ words and the reason I believe they don't follow his words is they only know what other Preachers, and religious people tell them. For a human to want to turn over what if anything happens to your eternal soul upon your physical death to what another person tells you rather than read it for yourself is like committing spiritual suicide.
