In the Democratic Party you have real diversity of people within the Party. People of color, people of different religions, people with disabilities, Gay's, and many other diverse peoples all under one big tent of democracy. It's very different from the Republican party which is very restrictive and has driven most moderates and liberals and people of color out of there right wing, party.  While I am a religious person I don't want to force my religion on anyone and I can see that someone took those words out of the platform. Republican leaders like Romney and Ryan who say their platform means nothing to them as they have their own beliefs. When it comes to restricting a woman rights to not being able to have an abortion when they have been **** or for incest; both Romney and Ryan said they are in direct disagreement with their platform. President Obama was also in disagreement on the Democratic platform when someone left God and Jerusalem out of their platform.   Kentay
