RNC 2012 - The Road to Jeb Bush 2016 - A Fistful of Awesome
August 31, 2012

Amid the tired rhetoric, empty platitudes, and frantic attacks, a fistful of awesome emerges at the Republican National Convention in the form of Clint Eastwood and a chair.

Insofar as accomplishing what he set out to accomplish, he executed a brilliant piece of acting. Notice how one line of his actually stuck: "ya gotta let him go".  Senile? I don't think so.

well, if he was acting it was a pretty good portrayal of an old guy losing it.

A brilliant portrayal, IMHO. The travails of aging certainly is addressed in his latest movie, so he knows whereof he speaks....so to speak. A seasoned actor knows the virtue of rehearsal even at his age, and I'll wager the entire production was premeditated. His bio on Wikipedia rather confirms his actual political proclivities and I daresay his track record doesn't exactly match today's GOP.

I suggest the naysayers watch it again.  Pay attention to when his little show ends and he is speaking directly to us.  He was clear, concise, and without any conversational stammering.
A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

Exactly. And yet the cons were embarrassed as hell. I love it!

I also enjoyed every lick that the G. E. Smith & Co. played, right down to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered"...which was reprised!  XD

No, as whole, they weren't.  You need better news sources.  Really.

So did I.  Laughter filled the hall.  Also have read and listened to many who loved it.  So please, save your bullshit for Charlotte.
