Folks on Twitter certainly expected that, too, and not just with the Mitt Movie. Same complaint was registered for Condi's speech. I tweeted the comment that it's prime time in California, but I don't think that made anybody feel any better about it.

Tell ya what, RWE--how about you give the RNC a sermon on the virtues of not only the use of teleprompters, but making sure that your elderly senior speakers have had updated spectacle prescriptions so that they can actually see a teleprompter.

CNN and MSNBC both have reported that the Romney advisers who cleared Eastwood's performance were Bushies, and with advisers like that it's no wonder Dubya looked as bad as he did.  Oh ye of little faith in teleprompters.

Watching the Republican Party Convention is like watching a party of white people with the people of color you see being mainly the help or groups brought in to entertaining the white folks at the party. The Republican delegation was about 2 % black and the Democratic delegation will be about 26 % , even biased people know that the Democratic Party is more in accordance with our beloved Constitutional than the Republicans Party.  kentay

"Trouble with the Curve" is Clint's new movie being promoted at the moment and the movie trailer shows him getting his eyes examined and eye trouble is usually what afflicts older folks over 40 years of age. One theory could be that he had to go off the teleprompter because he just couldn't see it.....but.....

...asking for a chair in advance indicates premeditation.

Insofar as accomplishing what he set out to accomplish, he executed a brilliant piece of acting. Notice how one line of his actually stuck: "ya gotta let him go".  Senile? I don't think so.
