I see, it's not important to you that your candidate lies, flips and flops as long as he wins. You have a strange value system that is destroying a once great country who had a strong middle class, for a two class System because of greed, money and manipulation of a person right to vote. The later is a non existing problem looking for a solution. In PA The Republicans could not document even one problem over the last 2 elections yet they have passed a most restrictive law against  voters that does not exist. When you can win based on your own values you start looking for ways to cheat and manipulate votes and voters. That is some party you belong to and of course you see no problems with what they are doing. kentay

Politicians rhetoric changes depending on the audience.  Remember when Hillary picked up an urban accent when she was talking to the NAACP?  Remember when Obama told that liberal crowd in San Fran that Republicans like to cling to their guns and religion?  Obama wouldn't have said that at an NRA convention and Hillary wouldn't use the urban accent in front of a mostly white audience.

Welcome to the world of politics.  You don't like it.  I don't like it.  The question is; since politicians act this way, why do you want politicians to control more and more of your life?

I don't like the out and out lying by Romney because it seems to  depending on what job he is seeking who he's talking too and where it is. Everyone changes over time it's called growing up becoming mature there are many names for it. But I have never ever lied to get a job and then later say I didn't when everyone knows you did because we see it on Video. President Obama  evolved on Gays and if you have any video that says  differently please post it.  I can post so many times Romney has lied on Video  from what he is saying now even if he swore he was telling the truth before. I think all of you know the truth but what the hell he's the only thing you have.  But I wouldn't never try to defend the Indefensible out and out liars because I value my soul more than anything else I own.  kentay

I'm not happy about Romney's flip-flopping on important issues and then trying to dance around the inconsistencies, but what do you expect me to do; vote for Obama?  Get serious.

I'd toss Romney aside in a heartbeat but the alternative is Obama, who now has a proven record being unable to allow the economy to right-itself. Unless Romney surprises us and grows a strong rudder after November I'm afraid that our choice isn't between good and bad, it's between bad and gawd awful.

I have said this before and I can not remember if I posted this here, or on my site.  Ted you might be able to tell me.

We should not be listening to the candidates shred the other.  We should be hearing what they want to do.  I could give a **** less what happened 30 years ago, or  even 10 years ago.  How the hell do you want to fix the problems.  That is what I want to here.  And until our politicians stop pointing the fingers, nothing will EVER get better.

I have said it before and I will say it again.  I have seen third graders act better than our elected officials.  They all should be FIRED and start brand new. It sends the message that the people are tired of the GAMES.  And yes, I know I am an  :ahole:

That's because I don't feel better than them; I was just lucky in my lower middle class birth parents, who loved me,  the country I was born in,  my health, and being born a 6' 2" white male in a white controlled and dominated country that open doors for me because of my skin color. No one human should be born with a silver spoon in their mouth just because of their birth, in my opinion. kentay

If my parents work hard, study hard, take risks, and it pays off for them, why shouldn't they be able to pass their fruits of their labor on to me and my siblings?  Unless I'm misreading you, you think that the government should confiscate the property of all newborns so that all of them have essentially the same net worth?  Did I get this right fellas?

I'm a believer in the notion that all men are created equal.  What I mean by this is that all humans are to be treated by the government as equal.  There should be no laws that favor one person or one group over another.  It doesn't mean that the government has the authority to confiscate wealth from one and give to another.  What it means is that the government (laws) can favor no one individual or group over another.

The perfect example of this is royalty.  In other countries certain families are recognized by law as royal families.  The members of these royal families are granted special privileges by law and anyone disrespecting the royal family is subject to imprisonment.

In the USA anybody and everybody has a chance to become rich.  Most won't.  In countries with kings and queens only members of the royal family can become king or queen.  This is what the founders meant when they said that all men are created equal.  They meant that the law recognizes no kings or queens as a consequence of birth.  They didn't mean that private industry and individuals are prevented from becoming wealthy and famous.  They only meant that the government must not treat the wealthy and the famous differently than they do any other citizen.
