I'm of the school of thought that says if you want something to go away, the best plan is to just ignore it.  I'm not sure dressing up in costumes and donning face paint is an effective way to make a fringe group fade into the background.

There are conspiracy theorists out there that are buying up serious ammo seriously believing that there will indeed be a zombie apocalypse. It's smarter to dress up like a zombie than actually being an idiot who really believes that there really will be a real zombie apocalypse.

And nothing does the Westboro Baptists more justice than claiming the same rights they claim when they protest while dressed up as zombies.  :woot:

Yep, some people don't know when to go away.  But the image of those Westboro nuts surrounded by a bunch of goofballs in costumes and face paint would make a sane person want to erect a fence around the whole bunch of them.

I say it's more effective to let the loons from Westboro hang themselves with their own behavior.  There's no need to dress up and make yourself look stupid.
