This week we've seen politics in America brought to a new low. Harry Reid, leader of the Senate democrats accused the republican candidate for president of a series of federal crimes. He did so with malice. He did so on the floor of the Senate because there on the floor of the Senate he is immune from a defamation of character suit. He did so without any evidence.
Even the Democrats most respected source of news and opinion couldn't tolerate this action by the senate majority leader:

This shows without a doubt that the Democrats will demean themselves and this nations institutions without shame to further their own ambitions for power. If they will do this there can be no doubt that the only reason they have for wanting Romney to release his tax records is to slander him further with baseless allegations using their tried and true tactic of lying often enough that the people will believe them. Are there any decent democrats who will have the courage to condemn this shameful behavior? Besides Jon Stewart?

Jesus must be embarrassed that you call yourself a Christian. Making accusations against someone without evidence is something Jesus would never do. It's called "bearing false witness".
