Inequality - Sorting Through the Facts
« on: August 20, 2012, 05:45:40 pm »
For you conservatives here is an interesting talk from Cato concerning the income gap that the left have worked themselves into lather over.  Seems it's not quite what the left has been telling us.

...as if what the right tells you is more biblical...

Daydream believer.

============================================

LOLz! Dan Mitchell begins by admitting to having a simple-minded view.  I'll buy that.

=====================

Brian Dimitrovik (sp?) steps to the podium saying what an august institution Cato is, but it's after Mitchell introduced the last guy (Scott Winchuck--sp?) as "batting cleanup".  Well, it is August, after all, and these are the Boys of Summer.

======================

Brian begins with a FAIL, saying that this is a failed recovery when the Dow has increased 74% since Obama got sworn in to office.  Oh wait! He said JOBS!  Behold, friends and neighbors, NOW the cons are all pro labor!  Imagine that! Where were these labor-conscientious cons LAST friggin decade when the Dow tanked? ERMAGERD, CONS GOT CONVERTED TO LABOR RELIGION!!

....except Brian's more interested in making this a War on Christmas...er...class warfare.  Just as fictional as the War on Christmas.  Brian has declared class warfare again. FAIL TWO.

One more and that boy of summer is OUT.

Kantai's charts tell far more than the stupid video! I listened to it yesterday and felt embarrassed for the trivial of nonsense, couldn't understand until I did some research and found the Magik connection: Koch! How deep have Brothers Kooch sunk their talons in society?

Where Ted he never finished what he starts. Ted likes to think of himself as a oracle and above the everyday type poster. If he doesn't have the time to have a interchange of discussion on his subject he post, then he should save his post until he has the time.  Kentay

If I may be so bold as to offer you advice don't get sucked into kentay's personal comments.  He does that to avoid discussing topics once he uses up his cut and pastes.  He really can't do that on his own.

Ted then save your post until you have the time, because if you have the time to make up your answers, by delaying your answers,   it's not fair to those of us who don't think of ourselves as an oracle, we  engage and answers right away. I like to see how your brain works when it get hot and heavy, you might not be the oracle you think you're.  Kentay

Ted,  does it all the time, he makes one post and then disappears. All I'm saying is if you don't have the time at that time to post awhile then save it until you do have the time. Think about it what if more of us just made a post and disappeared what kind of a discussion board would this be. Kentay

Okay Kentay, what should the rules be?  If a person makes a post, how long should they sit there pressing the refresh button until they are allowed to leave?  An hour? Two hours?  Now's your chance to write the rules.

Ted, I would certainly be prepared to stick around long enough to see if any poster had questions or purposed a rebuttal you should be prepared to make a comment back but not 24 hours later. And if you don't have the time just save your post until you do have the time. I do not make the rules but I have a right like any other poster, to make constructive criticism.   kentay
