It's because health care is part and parcel of the economy, that's why.

Not only that, but American voters are already all too painfully aware of how the GOP desires to focus on a single issue just so nobody will notice when they slip another dictatorship under the door.

There's also the matter of the demographics of voter polls--the female demographic plus the latino demographic against Romney are adding up.

No problem.  In the same poll healthcare comes in at only 8%.  So the premise stands.
It's still part and parcel of the economy, which is why cons keep bringing it up--Ryan in particular.

So exactly why are our forum demobots and Obamabots posting almost exclusively about non economic problems and abortion?

That's easy.  THEY'VE GOT NOTHING ELSE!
...and they've got nothing else to hold against Republicans because Republicans haven't brought up anything else.  Where are the jobs?

What chu talkin' bout Willis?  You have already been schooled in this.  Cons are not going to write bills that you like, that involve shifting wealth with big stimulus programs.

A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

In the poll that is the topic of the thread it is a non economic issue.  Sigh.

So no, it is not.

...except that it IS an economic issue regardless. Realities don't go away just because a poll gets slanted. A poll just doesn't Make It So, Captain Picard.

I have yet to meet a con that had any acquaintance with reality, actually...

Where ARE the jobs?  O's been President for almost four years, and he promised that unemployment would stay below 8%.  In reality, O-era unemployment has remained above 8% at all times.

Yes, where are the jobs.  Shovel ready O and Joe said that unemployment would be below 6 by this time if we passed the stimulus.

If they are going to subscribe to Keynesian economic theory at least subscribe to it completely.  Government deficit spending with NO TAX INCREASES or threat of tax increases.

I get a chuckle out of every time a con proclaims that governments don't create jobs while demanding more jobs from Obama. Truly originating from the Bellevue wing of the Republicon Party.

I am going to make a suggestion, not an order, not a demand, but a suggestion.  The suggestion is re-read what we both wrote.  We are not demanding jobs from Shovel Ready O.

The way that government creates jobs is to STAY OUT OF THE WAY!
