There is not much difference between the US Tea and Taliban party. They are booth religious extremists only their interpretation of the dogma differs. The Eastern Taliban gets away with murder where the Western Taliban still doesn't but that is a minor difference.

Here are some aspects of booth:

It is full of hatred for women and women's rights.
We see the same hatred for the US Government.
We see the same hatred for science and secular education.
We see the same cry for ideological purity.
We see the same disregard for fact.
What say you; is our Taliban party not the greatest danger to the US?
The so called "Tea Party" has nothing to do with conserving any US values!

1.  There I'd no single Tea Party.

2.  The roots of the movement are based in fiscal policy, not social issues.  "Tea" in the title is an acronym.

3.  One of the goals of the Tea Party is a return to limited federal powers.

4.  Can you post the website of this mythical Tea Party so we can see this fantasy platform.

5.  You are about as Norwegian as I am Chinese.

I wouldn't doubt if some of your other screen names were Inga, Thumper, or mellowin' man.
A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

It's true that there is no single Tea Party, but there are two branches that have been co-opted by cons, and the most prominent of those is the Koch Brothers Tea Party. The other is commandeered by Norquist, but they're as good as hand-in-glove as both present the most serious challenges to the Republican establishment in the primaries.  They're basically gutting the Republican Party which has been left mortally wounded by Dubya's regime...which is why cons prefer that you develop amnesia about the Dubya legacy.

We won't let 'em forget, tho, you can bet on it.

Still waiting to link to the platform or planks of that platform that support the opening post.

You are up to double dubya points.

Start with the Akin Plank and work down.  But the official GOP plank won't be officially announced until tomorrow. Keep yer pants on already.

Sorry, not a link.  Either provide it or step aside and let wannabe Norway boy defend his hilarious and ignorant assertions.

Why is it with you we have to prove our own arguments and yours as well?

:hogwash:

Why do you need a link Woodie? Clara is right, the Tea Party was hijacked by such sociopaths as Brothers Kooch and Taliban high priest Norquist.
I know it must hurt you to see this but you are as sound as your judgement of my nationality!

Oh here is a link for you if you want to be entertained:

Because it's your Party even if you cry if you want to.
:band: (Woody's party and he'll cry if he wants to,,,,,) That has a nice ring to it.

Yeah, right..........

So where have we crossed paths before norwayboy?

 :mooner:

Oh, no link to the official platform listing your complaints.

Hey numbnuts, norquist is a tax guy, not social issue guy.

Have we crossed pasts?
Norquist is a lobbyist and that is a social disaster/issue as is his view on taxing those that have the resources!

I know what norquist is and I am not a fan.  But enough of that diversion for it doesn't defend your OP.

You got links to the Tea Party to support your OP?

I find Woody insists on demanding something that doesn't exist yet, even though the GOP told reporters that it would be released today.

What has happened is an advanced copy of it got leaked to the press and it's been the pro-life publications that have been crowing about not just the Akin Plank but also an anti-all-**** plank as if the 1st Amendment doesn't exist and none of the court decisions in Larry Flint's favor ever happened.

If nothing else proves that the GOP is the party of the Christian Taliban, this does.

Notice how Clara is trying to reframe to the GOP.  Sorry, I came here for the Tea Party discussion.

I already told Norwayboy it doesn't exist.  Thanks for helping me rebut his post.  I knew you would come thru in a pinch.

And you thought you were SO superior. :wuv:

Here are just a couple of places where you can read about the Taliban/Tea Party and see for yourself.

I'm puzzled by why you demand links when others post something when you have been flinging loose allegations and unfounded claims all over this board.
Would you also like links to the Taliban/Tea Religious nut positions?
