There ya have it folks.  The alleged Norwegian can not post a single link to the mysterious central Tea Party platform that discusses the issues he raised.  Even Clara posted it does not exist.

The Taxed Enough Already movement is not an organized political party.  They are a grass roots organization of pissed of citizens who are concerned with taxes, debt and debits, spending and limited federal government.

This was nothing but a fishing expedition for this moron and he is the one who got hooked.

A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

I find Woody insists on demanding something that doesn't exist yet, even though the GOP told reporters that it would be released today.

What has happened is an advanced copy of it got leaked to the press and it's been the pro-life publications that have been crowing about not just the Akin Plank but also an anti-all-**** plank as if the 1st Amendment doesn't exist and none of the court decisions in Larry Flint's favor ever happened.

If nothing else proves that the GOP is the party of the Christian Taliban, this does.

Notice how Clara is trying to reframe to the GOP.  Sorry, I came here for the Tea Party discussion.

I already told Norwayboy it doesn't exist.  Thanks for helping me rebut his post.  I knew you would come thru in a pinch.

And you thought you were SO superior. :wuv:

You presume to know what I think, Woody, when you don't.

The platform exists but not for access by the voter, almost but not quite as deliberately as inaccessible as Romney's taxes. Romney selects Ryan because of Ryan's record and plans and then says that studying the Ryan Plan won't give us clues to what Romney is going to do...and then switchbacks to say that his plan and Ryan's plan are as good as identical.

What the Republican Party is trying to do is repeat American history when the Know-Nothings ran for office.  The Republicans will be equally successful at running for office, and that's what I think.

The Eastern Taliban gets away with murder where the Western Taliban still doesn't but that is a minor difference.

For me this patently absurd sentence ends any serious discussion before it gets started.  The idea that there is only a "minor" difference between the Taliban which uses terror and murder to move their agenda and the Tea Party which uses lawful means to promote its agenda is profoundly stupid.  I'd be completely embarrassed to make such a obviously moronic claim.

Not so fast. The only difference between this country being run by the Christian Taliban and the way certain Islamic states were being run by the Al Qaida Taliban has to do with the secular laws we have in place here, and which will be the first to hit the dustbin should the Christian Taliban ever take power here.

Something no American should permit to happen.

Yes, this was an absurd thread from the get go and was never intended to advance serious discussion.

It's true that there is no single Tea Party, but there are two branches that have been co-opted by cons, and the most prominent of those is the Koch Brothers Tea Party. The other is commandeered by Norquist, but they're as good as hand-in-glove as both present the most serious challenges to the Republican establishment in the primaries.  They're basically gutting the Republican Party which has been left mortally wounded by Dubya's regime...which is why cons prefer that you develop amnesia about the Dubya legacy.

We won't let 'em forget, tho, you can bet on it.

Still waiting to link to the platform or planks of that platform that support the opening post.

You are up to double dubya points.

Sigh.  Clara, I am not presuming to know what you think.  You posted that, in the context of a tea party platform, it does not exist.  So stop with that bullshit.

Now you are claiming that you need a super secret decoder ring,  a password, and a secret handshake to see the sacred scrolls that contain the Tea Party platform.

I am not even going to address your absurd defense of comparing the tea party to the Taliban.  It is as stupid as cons calling liberals communists.  Yes, you are being that stupid.

That is not a Tea Party link.  That is a politico link with a GOP banner.  Another bait and switch by Clara.

I have no idea what you are talking about.  What Christian Taliban?  Exactly what is the figment of your imagination doing that makes them nearly equivalent to the real Taliban which among other horrific acts, chops the heads off of people who don't share their beliefs.  Give me some specifics.

You know exactly what I'm talking about. You know, the Christians who think it's their divine right to plaster every public place with Jewish Commandments like dogs marking fire hydrants.

She needs to CLARAfy.  Is she discussing the Tea Party in the context of the OP or the GOP.  She tried that bait and switch with me.

Oh, the Commandments you claimed were not in the bible?  :rotfl:

The Tea Party of any branch isn't the press, and the GOP leaked it to the press, silly. That's Politico's copy of the leaked platform, silly goose.

What? WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Simply posting the ten commandments is the same as intentionally killing another human because they don't have the same belief system as your own?  You can't be serious.
