Republican Campaign Mantra:
We turned over a real mess to President Obama, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so give us another chance to  create a depression.

I don't care how Ohio does it but as it stands now there is no uniform state wide regulations on this.  Don't you agree?
A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

No I don't agree. Your party wants to restrict citizen from voting and that is not the American way at least that what we tell other newly Democratic countries. Has your parties hypocrites taken over your party? kentay

Actually, no, the independents are not trying to restrict anyone.  But what is happening in Ohio was that the leadership was trying to allow in person early voting thru the Friday before the election EXCEPT for military personnel.  They could vote on that weekend.  This would allow the precincts to compare their voter rolls for those who voted to those who didn't.  Additionally there was no statewide uniform rule.  Some precincts were open, some weren't.  There were different times, etc.

Additionally, Ohioans had a few weeks to do this.  Not sure how that suppresses the vote.  Can you explain that?

I always voted ever 4 years when I was in the military by absentee ballot and it never matter what country I was in. The reason I volunteer for the military was because we have a beloved Constitution that must be protected from foes whether Domestic or Foreign subversion and attack. And right now your party is trying to restrict some  American citizen from voting. I believe that your party with the help of the Ohio SOS is creating domestic subversion by trying to destroy our country by trying to rig the vote. kentay

Kentay, how is it equal when there are different rules county by county as your first cut and paste explains?

Hey, kentay...

Put on your "thinking cap" now.   Neither one of us is too likely to be mistaken for a financial genius, I suspect, but...old friend...

How do you imagine a nation will survive when 40% of what the government spends has to be borrowed from a foreign nation, or simply printed by running the presses faster?  Concentrate, now!  Isn't that what has happened to Greece?

Now, to change tracks ever-so-slightly, here...

You've gloated over the fact that Romney didn't get a measurable "bounce" out of the convention.  Right?  Don't equivocate, now.  You know you gloated.  Nothing that Obama (or his spouse) is likely to say is going to change MY vote, and I'm pretty sure nothing Romney says is likely to change your (wrong headed) vote.  The lack of "bounce" is because the vast majority of likely voters have made up their minds already.  The "undecideds" form a much smaller group than in past elections.  Thus your gloating is meaningless, old son.

Now, another track to pursue briefly.

About this unemployment figure:  You seem to be of the opinion that Obama has successfully turned the economy around.  Why -- old son --- has the unemployment figure remained at 8.3%?   A short answer will suffice...nothing too glamorous or appealing...just the facts, please.

To sling just a little bit of mud...you know, the dirty stuff...
Romney promises he'll work on the economy tirelessly with positive steps.    Obama spent his time on vacation, playing golf, and running around the country (at our expense) campaigning.  Now you might say that Romney campaigned a lot, too, but he's not the chief executive officer of the country, is he?

I know you'll enjoy responding, in your usual academic fashion...without simply parroting leftist talking points and drooling on the keyboard as you type.

Bon Apertite.  (I forget whether that has one or two "p"s)

Ken, that blather about how republicans want to restrict voting rights is nonsense, and you know it.  You and I both need picture ID in MANY situations that are far less important than voting.  Asking for voter ID is nothing more nor less than an effort to clean-up our fraud-laden voting in this nation.

You DO want honest elections, don't you?  Well, don't you?

Read my reply about Ohio (for Obama, that's "Oiho") just above this post.  You do want honest elections, don't you?  Don't you?

Well, maybe you don't.  What do I know?

My physics students are REALLY confused about the acceleration of gravity and computations, so I'm off to school early to get some materials ready.  Confused?  Probably my fault, but be that as it may...
Have a good day.
