I've been on Twitter the whole time and even tho Obama isn't up yet for his speech, Twitter tracking has Obama at 50 (up 25 since yesterday) and Romney at 10 (-4 since yesterday).  That display will change as the night progresses.

Personally I think Bubba runs rings around O.  Apparently half of that speech was ad libbed, which raises an issue:  That sucker was almost TWICE as long as the bummer he delivered in 1988.  How long was O standing backstage cooling his heels, eh?

Dunno about the heel-cooling but I do know that Gwen Ifil clocked him at 48 1/2 minutes total. Well, cons were always complaining about teleprompters and now they got their wish they should just STFU, ha.  :woot:

I watched ol' Bill deliver his address...I was literally spellbound.  He did a helluva job.  When Obama charged up onto the stage afterward, he looked like he should have had a tear in his eye...with the sentiment being...

THANK YOU BILL...YOU'VE SAVED MY PRESIDENCY

The problem isn't that Bill isn't a good speaker.  He's wonderful.  The problem is the content.  In a capsule, what he said was,

"Every single use of taxpayer's money that we shovel at social issues is well-spend, and every objection from conservatives is just greed and selfishness"

Am I right? I guess that depends on who's ox is gored, doesn't it?  He appealed to arithmetic several times, which brings to mind the old adage that "figures don't lie, but liars figure"

Well, those of us who file tax returns do that math and yet that's one thing Romney's not counting on, apparently. When liars figure, it's a matter of degrees.  In Romney's case, several degrees.

...and those who DON'T file tax returns seem to work in the White House.  I've read (as I'm sure you have) of the huge amount tax-evaders in this administration owe. 

What's that all mean?  It means "don't do as I do...do as I say...and shut up"
