Let's not forget that Mr Foreign Policy Obama is the same man who very publicly hammered bush over the surge in Iraq.  Tis is the same surge that led to the BA timeline for withdrawal, and the same surge obama said was wrongheaded that allowed him to claim credit for "ending" the war.

Also keep in mind Mr Foreign Policy, the Nobel peace prize winner, has doubled the amount of American deaths in Afghanistan in less than 4 years.

Also keep in mind this is the same man who has seen a major escalation in Israeli/Palestinian Relations because of precondition demands that not even carter asked for.

This is just a start.
A reminder for kentay:
I fully support going back to ALL, that says ALL THE CLINTON TAX and spend policies that led to the economic boom in the second half of the 90's.

What we've learned about foreign policy these past few days is...Until that religious bonehead tried to bring on Armageddon before the Lord's Appointed Time, Obama had done a darn good job of building just such a market.
--Pro-al Qaeda group seen behind deadly Benghazi attack
http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/12/world/africa/libya-attack-jihadists/index.htmlhttp://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2012/09/12/Al-Qaeda-Catches-Obama-White-House-Flat-Footed-During-Egypt-Libya-Attacks

What we've learned is that the attacks had nothing to do with any"religious bonehead" unless you are talking about Obama and al-Qaeda. Obama helped them come to power. Then his bonehead Administration failed to notice posted video threats coming from an al-Qaeda chief.
Pretty much what I figured when the attempt to tie Cairo and Benghazi together was made. Intewebs have been a-buzz with this, regarding Libya.  Cairo is something else.

Hey, is Egypt an ally?

Administration sources told The Cable that Obama's "ally" comment was not pre-arranged or prepared by staff and that the question was not anticipated. Pre-planned or not, the comments carry weight,

See what happens when an inept community organizer tries to ad lib? Next thing you know, ex Presidents are tutoring him.

Jimmy Carter Corrects Obama
Carter: "Egypt is an ally of the US, we know Egypt well."
Carter went on to Talk about Egypt's new President , Carter says he knows him well and has met with him.  Carter said Egypt's president is dedicated to peace and truly a democratic government.

WAS an ally under Mubarak, guys. No treaty or agreement has been signed with the current result of the coup regime. It remains to be seen if they enforce all the agreements made with Mubarak. Legally speaking, the old treaties are good if THEY uphold the old treaties.  Not if they don't.

Egypt's failure to secure the U.S. Embassy is Breach of Treaty Number One.

Wait a minute!  Yesterday you were claiming that the U.S. failure to defend the embassies meant that "the events were permitted"!

No, but clearly you have. Security detail is totally absent here and there is no armed offensive, so clearly this event was permitted.

You're not paying attention to the timeline or the regime the U.S. has a treaty with. Whether or not past treaties are still good after the coup remains to be seen, from their end. Quit pretending to be so dense; I know you're smarter than that.

Where did you get the idea that Al Qaida would just roll over? Obama knows better--he requested an extension of Dubya-instituted wartime powers. At least when Obama gives his word he's going to bring terrorists to justice, you can take it to the bank....unlike Dubya.  If those SEALs were so damn smart, what took 'em all these years to find Bin Laden?

You're saying Jimmy Carter is being dense for declaring that Egypt is our ally. He said that today. Is that on your timeline?

Hell, electing O was supposed to "heal the planet", so alleviating some Arab anger should have been a cakewalk.
