Isn't this blackmail, if you don't vote my way I will bring you down. I don't think our forefathers ever imagined so many crazy people in one party.It appears that its ok with Republicans and this is the type country they want to have, I sure don't want to live in that kind of country. Kentay

In one of the most egregious cases, a West Virginia coal baron spent $3 million to buy a seat on the state supreme court for a justice who later went on to strike down a $50 million verdict against his company, although the U.S. Supreme Court ultimately ruled that the bought-and-paid-for justice should have recused himself.

No, it is not black mail.  It is called democracy at work.  PA Supreme Court Justices are elected by the voting citizens of PA.
