Obama's Promise to Raise Taxes

So O just demanded that Congress pass a one-year extension of current income tax rates for those earning less than $250,000.  Translation:  I want to raise taxes on relatively high earners now, and on everyone else once I'm safely reelected.

I call upon Congress to pass a permanent extension for everyone and let O veto it.

And BTW, why is it that they Prez is LATE to EVERY event he schedules???
