board time vs. mine.

why does the board say it's 6:10 am, when my clocks say 10:10 pm? where is this thing coming from-overseas?

Since this isn't a site that I own, it's the server's time, where ever that is. Only SMFNew people know for sure.

well, i've narrowed it down a bit by checking the world clock. it is either england, spain, the canary islands, or ...where the heck is reykjavik?

iceland...also it could be africa-morocco. seems to be the time zone for the atlantic coastal cities of europe and africa. interesting.

Africa/Abidjan is what I found in the Admin panel.  I also found that I could change it.  There's no Oklahoma anything but 2 cities in Kentucky.  I picked Louisville.

You can modify the time in your profile.  Depending on what time zone you are in would depend on what time zone to change.  Go to your profile, then under modify profile click Look and Layout, Look for Time Offset:  Then click auto detect.  It should fix that problem for you
