How long does it take you to earn enough money to pay for a gallon of milk? 99 Uniting broke down the numbers in this info graphic:

We turned over a real mess to President Obama, he hasn't cleaned it up fast enough, so give us another chance to  create a depression.

Its amazing how you are able to find so many Democrats with a low opinion of Romney.

Hey, instead of looking at Romneys financial records, you should demand to see Obama's college records. All indications are that Obama is not so bright. After he became president he realized the job was too tough so he hired a bunch of "czars" to do the work for him while he went and played golf. Obama appointed GE CEO Immelt as jobs czar.

Kentay, instead of repeatedly stating the problem, how about offering some answers?  Exactly how do you think the income gap should be closed?

We must go back to the days of Country first and compromise or we all will go down with the ship. kentay[/color]
Everyone knows that the Democrats hate America and want it destroyed so they can consolidate the wealth of the world into the hands of the few. They just need to fool enough saps into thinking that they care about them. Its been that way for more than 75 years.

The Greatest Generation are precisely the group who set up the Ponzi scheme which is social security.  They are the ones who took out ten, twenty, thirty times what they put in, kicking the costs off to their children and grandchildren.

Sorry Kentay but there's nothing here.  You're saying that we have to build a bridge to the past, but still offer no tangible details, just political rhetoric.  Specifically what law or laws need to be implemented or what law or laws need to be eliminated.  I'm not just looking for grandiose platitudes, I want specifics.

Non sequitur. Romney claims to be a job creator despite squirrelling away his millions where there are no American jobs and Obama's college records create no jobs either.  You mean Obama can't hire specialists now? You think he's magic more than anybody else does, clearly.

And you think it's wise that Obama hires a specialist at closing US factories and sending jobs to china? And then puts him in charge of jobs?

...nobody got rich in this country on his or her own.

This line was made popular months ago by Elizabeth Warren.  The left seemed to go nutty over it for some reason that I can't quite figure out. It is an honest line.  It is a true line.  It's a fact, but there are other facts that the left can't seem to come to grips with.

1. Nobody is forced to work for a rich guy.
2. Nobody is forced to work for a low wage.
3. Rich people employ others, poor people employ no one.
4. Everybody is free to quit a job they feel isn't paying them enough.
5. Everybody is free to start their own business and pay their employees a fair wage.
6. Everybody is free to start a business and go into direct competition with businesses that feature a large gap in income.
7. A business owner paying fair wages is free to lure employees away from owners who pay low wages.

Or in other words; you lefties should try leading by example rather that by government coercion.

Well Clara, I can't name one but then I have never made that claim. In fact I agree with it:

Then you should be able to figure out why people "went nuts" over it. It's obvious.

Kentay, this thread that you started seems to be about income disparity. I asked you a couple times to provide specific and meaningful ways in which you propose the gap be closed.  Instead you post flowery words that either restate the problem or are so generalized that they are meaningless.

This last post you cut and pasted an article from a left wing website that quotes an anonymous woman who attended a Koch fundraiser yesterday.  How this is pertinent to the conversation at hand I just don't know.  This is another reason I left the democrat party.  It's against my nature to answer a direct question with unrelated nonsense which the left seems to constantly be doing.
