He didn't lie to the SEC. Irrelevant.
He signed papers filed with the SEC that he was responsible for Bain at a time when he claims to the rest of us that he was on a leave of absence--therefore he filed papers with the SEC that he knew were false.
Or he's lying to us about his being responsible for Bain even when on a leave of absence. You can't have it both ways. He signed his name on a legal document saying that he was in fact responsible. Deal with it or call him a felon.
