The economy already went over the cliff after the Dubya tax cuts--how soon you forget. No jobs were created from tax cuts and people know better than to believe that fairytale about tax cuts for "job creators". We've had the Dubya tax cuts in place and renewed for about a decade now. Where are the jobs?

I remember that the tax cuts, which were delayed until 2003, brought the economy out of the end-of-term Clinton recession brought about by the dot.com crash.

Apparently you've been playing Rip Van Winkle for the last 3.5 years. The Democrats controlling the Congress and the presidency decided that they wanted to continue reaping the benefits of low taxes by extending them until the end of 2012. That wasn't a "change" you could believe in. Was it? Where are the jobs?

You think we're an entire nation of nothing but roustabouts? Really?

WHERE ARE THE OTHER JOBS?

I'd like Boehner's job. And his socialist health care package and his golden retirement parachute, too. No roustabout gets THAT.

There seems to be some real confusion over the source of our current difficulties.

Hmm, you mean the Obaa Tax Rates.  Obama pushed to txtend the current rates in 2010 when he still had the majority in both houses.  Also keep in mind Obama was against raising taxes during a down economy before he was for it.

So please, enough with the god damn blame bush crap.  Tese rates are owned lock, stock and barrel by Obama.

We can blame Bush because those are still Bush's tax cuts AND we can blame those tax cuts for the absence of jobs. After 10 years of tax cuts, 10 years says it's a failure.

We can't blame Obama for Congress.

I'm with you on this one, clara.  O went along out of cowardice; Bush still deserves all the credit, and G-d bless him for it!

I know--God bless Bush cuz he and his Party gave us Obama!  :woot:

Dubya's Party was working toward getting Hilary elected candidate, and we all know how well THAT went.

We can't blame Obama for Congress.

   6 years Bush
 +4 years Obama
 10 years total failure

So, according to Clara: Obama's entire Presidency has been a failure. But we can't blame Obama for being a failure. Obama's failure is Bush's fault. And Clara thinks its a good idea to give Obama another four years.

Buzzzzzzzzzz!  That is incorrect. You had 4 years of a democrat controlled congress that could have changed that.  2 of those years you had a 58 to 60 votes in the senate, a democrat controlled house and a democrat president.  They chose to EXTEND them.  Please stop lying and revising history.

I've never seen anybody wish they had voted for John Kerry so hard.
